Lucid Gravity Product Development
De‑risking production‑ready experiences through applied usability, ergonomics, and customer value research
As Gravity progressed toward production, I supported product development through applied research focused on usability, ergonomics, and customer‑facing configurations. This work addressed both experiential quality and business considerations across hardware, software, and feature packaging.
Accessories Usability Evaluation
Evaluated accessories such as all‑weather trunk solutions to understand real‑world usability across seating and cargo configurations. Insights informed decisions around configuration, attachment mechanisms, and overall customer experience.
HMI Controls
Assessed physical and digital controls across driving and non‑driving scenarios to support consistency, ease of use, and safe interaction. Findings were shared with design and engineering teams to inform iterative refinements.
Ergonomic Evaluation
Conducted ergonomic research examining seating, posture, reach, visibility, and screen/steering‑wheel obscuration across a wide range of user profiles. Recommendations helped validate early hardware decisions with high implications for comfort, safety, and perceived quality.
Packages and Subscriptions
Contributed to research exploring customer understanding, perceived value, and willingness to pay for feature packages and subscription‑based experiences. This work supported product packaging strategies oriented around holistic experiences rather than isolated features.
Quantitative Research – Surveys
Designed and supported quantitative surveys to capture customer preferences and prioritization at scale, complementing qualitative insights and informing Gravity’s broader product roadmap discussions.
Impact
Reduced late‑stage production risk by validating ergonomics and usability early
Informed customer‑centric packaging and monetization strategies
Ensured accessory and feature decisions aligned with real‑world use cases and expectations
