Lucid Midsize Concept Development
For Lucid’s upcoming midsize program, I led and contributed to early‑stage research shaping the interaction model, infotainment experience, and customer understanding. The work focused on defining scalable UX principles to guide a future platform from the outset.
Establishing experience foundations for Lucid’s next midsize platform
Concept Development
Collaborated with design teams to ideate and refine midsize experience concepts, informed by user needs, competitive analysis, and intended market positioning.
Usability Evaluation
Conducted iterative usability evaluations of early infotainment and interaction concepts, identifying strengths, risks, and opportunities prior to deeper development investment.
Interaction Model Testing
Planned and executed comparative interaction model testing to assess learnability, efficiency, and coherence across core use cases, including solo driving, passenger interaction, and EV‑specific scenarios.
Psychographic Development
Led psychographic research to develop midsize customer archetypes, capturing behaviors, values, and attitudes across regions. These archetypes informed experience strategy, feature prioritization, and long‑term product direction.
Impact
Helped shape the UX foundation of a future platform before design and engineering lock‑in
Enabled data‑driven decisions around interaction models and experience strategy
Provided shared customer frameworks for design, product, and leadership teams
